Summary
Immigration has been the problem through all the years whether the government should allow illegal immigrants families to stay or whether they should be removed from the state. Many are against having families stay just because of the fact they are not from here and because they do not have a green card that would allow them to stay in the country legally. The gang of 8 proposed to have a path to citizenship and enforce border security. In the past there were acts that were passed such as the Immigration Reform and Control Act of 1986 but it still was not enough.
